Moving Boxes and More!
It's important to us that our clients belongings are provided the best possible protection available for the long journey between Melbourne and Brisbane. We can supply the highest quality, purpose-specific packing materials including cartons, paper (for wrapping and cushioning), tape and anything else required to get the job done. All at competitive prices.
You can choose whether to pack your own boxes or have our experts do it for you. It's just one of the many ways that MBR can help tailor your move to your individual needs and budget.
Not all boxes were created equal!
If there was one tip we would like to stress to all of our clients, it would be to always use packing supplies that have been designed and made specifically for moving. There's plenty of ways to save money when moving house, but using free, cheap or innapropriate packing supplies is not the way to go.
There's a range of cartons and packing materials that were designed with specific uses in mind. There's the usual suspects: standard/tea-chest boxes (600 x 400 x400 mm) and book/wine cartons (400 x 400 x 300mm). Our sales staff can run you through the options and help you decide what your requirements are. Below are some of the most commonly used packing boxes and supplies.
- > Standard Boxes / Tea-Chest Cartons
- > Picture Cartons
- > TV Boxes
- > Wine / Book Boxes
- > Packing Paper
- > Port A Robes (Portable Wardrobes)
- > Packing Tape
- > Mattress / Furniture Covers
ˆ Service not available in all areas.
Do we pack everything for you?
We can, or you can choose what you'd like for us to pack and leave the rest for you. Some minimums may apply and these will be communicated to you when organising your packing requirements.
What should be boxed?
Generally speaking - anything that can be boxed, should be boxed. Cartons are the most effective way to protect your personal items in transit. Anything that's too big to fit in a box (fridges, beds, etc.) will be wrapped in furniture removal pads by our expert removalists.
How much does it cost?
This depends on the number and type of cartons to be packed or delivered and can be answered by our sales team when you're organising your move. Where packing or material supply is available, you will receieve some basic pricing options whenever you get a quote from us.
