What are your payment methods?
- Credit Card. We accept Visa and MasterCard. You can provide card details over the phone or to the driver on the day (car carriers cannot accept payments for car transport services).
- Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). We offer a $10 discount to all EFT payments. Simply transfer $10 less if paying by EFT. Please make sure that you include your quote reference number in your transaction so we can easily identify you. Our account details will be provided to you along with your quote and booking.
- Bank cheque. We do not accept personal cheque's, sorry.
- Cash. You may pay by cash on pickup for fixed price furniture removals, or on delivery for hourly rate jobs. Again, car carriers cannot accept cash payments for car transport services.
How much notice do you need?
We usually don't require much notice at all. In most cases we can accept bookings with as little as 24 hours notice. Often less. But it depends on locations involved, job sizes, seasonal factors, etc. If you need to make a last minute booking then please call us on (03) 9764-2800 or send us a message using the form at the bottom of this page. We will always do our best to help.
What are your transit times?
Transit times vary considerably depending on where you are going from or to. We will usually provide an estimate when you get a quote from us. Our estimates are based on long term averages and should be considered a guideline only.
Furniture removals from Brisbane to Melbourne, or Melbourne to Brisbane, usually take around 2-5 business days.
We will contact you by SMS, phone, or email the day before your delivery is scheduled and again about an hour before the furniture removalists arrive. It is very important that you remain contactable throughout the course of your furniture removal.
If you have any more contact requirements please include them when submitting information for your quote.
How are the prices worked out?
We spend a great deal of time and effort on being competitive with every job we quote. For fixed price removals, most of the quoted cost is based on volume (how much you have to move) and the distances involved. We also account for many other factors when calculating your quote including access issues (like stairs, elevators, long walks, etc.)
Our quoted prices are always based on the information that you provide us with. Any information we ask for is either required to get the job done or is needed to accurately price your furniture removal. Therefore, it is really important that you submit your details as accurately as possible, so that we may reflect this accuracy in our pricing.
What happens if my inventory isn't accurate?
It's perfectly normal that you will not have a complete and final inventory until you're ready to move. We understand this. We allow you to change your inventory right up until the day before your move is scheduled to take place. We encourage you to call us when you've finished packing so that we can finalise your price.
On moving day, if you have significantly more items than you have listed we will have to adjust the price. If you have fewer items on the day your move is scheduled to take place, we cannot reduce the price, as we have allocated space for you that we can no longer sell.
For peace of mind, remember that our pricing works on a sliding scale. The more you have to move, the less it costs per cubic metre. So you won't be surprised by a disproportionate jump in price when you add a few more items.
What is backloading?
Backloading essentially means that you are sharing space in a furniture removalists truck with other clients. Some companies will charge you for the entire space within the truck for both outgoing and return journeys. Backloading means that you only pay for the space that you use, for the distance your furniture is being transported. Backloading is much more cost-effective and it's better for the environment.
Our Backload Services
Do you pack my boxes?
We don't pack your boxes for you unless you book a pre-packing service. The prices for pre-packing will be included in your quote if the service is available in your area. You can request for us to pack all of your items or only those that are fragile or of high value. Larger pieces of furniture and electrical appliances will be wrapped in furniture removal pads/blankets by your furniture removalists when they are loading your goods onto the truck.
Packing Supplies & Services
Where can I get moving boxes?
In some areas can supply and deliver cartons to you. The price of cartons will be included in your quote where available.

Alternatively, you can purchase boxes and packing supplies from your local storage facility.
We strongly recommend that you do use packing boxes and supplies that are made specifically for moving. Free cartons from your local grocery store, for example, are not recommended as they simply aren't strong enough.
What happens if my new place isn't available to move into?
We provide storage and redelivery services if you cannot move into your new residence yet. Prices for storage and redelivery will be included in your quote, where available.
