* Service availablity depends on the locations and vehicles involved.
^ Goods in vehicle where permitted are limited to 80Kg. Goods must not obscure the windows and nothing must be placed on the floor behind the driver's seat so that the seat can be adjusted if necessary.
~ All vehicles must have a driver's seat, all windows, a working brake, hand-brake and steering to be classified as drivable. Vehicles must also have a ground clearance of more than 150mm (including exhaust) or they will be classified as lowered.
Availability
We can usually transport your vehicle within around 2 business days of booking. Our car carrying services are available on weekdays and some services aren't available on public holidays. Not accounting for public holidays, bookings are available for:
- > This coming Wednesday, for vehicles being collected at an address nominated by you (e.g. door to door bookings).
- >This coming Tuesday, for vehicles being dropped off at the depot (e.g. depot to depot bookings bookings).

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to book a move with you or can you just move my car?
You don't have to have a furniture removal booked with us in order for us to transport your car. We offer this as an independent service, or as part of a household furniture removal or office relocation.
How do I prepare my car for interstate transport?
- Disable the car alarm so it won't get triggered in transit.
- Retract or remove any aerials from the vehicle.
- Remove all personal effects and anything that is not factory fitted from your car. Unless you've chosen a 'goods in vehicle service' you must remove all items except properly fitted child seats and spare tyres.
- Clean your vehicle thoroughly so that you and our carrier can identify and note any preexisting damage.
- Leave between 1/4 to 1/3 of a tank of fuel in the car's tank. You will need to have some so that the vehicle can be moved where necessary, but not too much that the vehicle is unnecessarily heavy.
- Make sure that you have told us of any operational issues, special handling requirements or preexisting damage concerning your vehicle.
What sort of cover is included for my car in transit?
The quoted price includes full comprehensive cover. Please refer to further information, exclusions and limitations listed in the conditions that will accompany all quotes issued by us.
What sort of vehicle is used to transport my car?
Usually a small or single car carrier will be used to collect and deliver your vehicle from and to personal address'. Vehicles are usually taken to a depot and then placed on larger interstate car transport trucks to be delivered to a depot in the destination city. We use both enclosed and open trucks. You can specify that you wish to only use enclosed trucks, but this may alter your quoted price.
Can I pack my car full of personal items?
Only if you have booked a 'Goods in Vehicle' service, in which case goods are limited to 80Kg. Goods must not obscure the windows and nothing must be placed on the floor behind the driver's seat so that the seat can be adjusted if necessary.
If you have booked a standard service you must remove all items that are not factory fitted except securely fitted child seats and spare tryes.
